pain after weight loss surgery

Oh hey! Guess what life after weight loss surgery isn't all rainbows and cupcakes. As of today I still have pain?!!? And this is where you say "What Liz you seem so happy and well adjusted on the #vitamintrain?" Nope not me!

I live everyday with this crazy burning pain when I eat or drink and don't forget the stomach spasms. Yep! they are super duper fun. Oh and the nausea. Zofran is my BFF I cant make it through a day without my BFF :)

I told Dr. T about this pain at my 1 year appointment and he felt it could be an ulcer. HUH? I follow the rules no NSAIDs..OK maybe I love coffee and drink way too much Click and I'm also a big ball of stress. I'm an emotional eater who now can't eat her feelings away. I am trying to find new ways to deal with stuff but all I do is feel myself internalizing things more and more each day. (oh did I forget to mention my sister left her hubby for the mailman...yep my family is in complete disarray)

So Dr T put me on carafate and we wished for the best. I was praying that this would be an easy fix, ya know take some carafate for a few weeks and magically feel better.

Well if you know me then you know that will never be the case. After about 3 weeks on the nasty over priced carafate the pain was still there. So off to have a CT done and they find nothing so next lets get an endoscopy done. I have had every other diagnostic test done so lets go for a scope now since we have never had one of those! YAY for health insurance!!!

So now comes the Gastrointestinal Doctor Dr. K. So Dr. K does the scope and guess what he finds?

NOTHING!

They never find anything. I'm so sick of this crap I feel like ick and I'm over it.

P.S. on a side note how do I find me a super cute Doctor husband? I figure I need someone to write my scripts for Zofran :)
